I think Bales College is an absolutely appalling school. Bullying is rife, especially in the lower years. There is little discipline and no consequences for bad behaviour. The staff are given no support by the Head teacher and are unable to enforce even the most simple rules for behaviour. Academically able children are held back by the atmosphere of unruliness and laziness.
I withdrew my child after six months. The fees are relatively low , but I guess you get what you pay for.

This is a lovely school and my child is very happy. My child is a high achiever. The teaching is excellent and they set high standards. A more traditional curriculum is followed. My child speaks highly of the teachers and they maintain the right mix of rapport and discipline. All the teachers are very well qualified, many with higher degrees and are specialists in their subjects. It doesn't have the some of the facilities of a larger school but that is not really an issue. The fees are exceptionally reasonable especially for inner London. I would thoroughly recommend.

Bales college is definately not value for money. Academically gifted students are not taken care of or encouraged. Staff competence and general atmosphere are horrible!
