There were days when I had to pinch myself to be sure that I was not dreaming. This excellent school deserves to be better known not only for its facilities - which are second to none - for the standard and range of its sport, for the quality and range of the music, for the thoroughness of its academic teaching, and for the way that all staff appeared to know - and like - all of the boys.

For a bright, motivated child, there is good, old-fashioned rigour to the curriculum, momentum and depth. There is also provision for the less academic. The sporting, musical, artistic and technological facilities are all exceptional for this age-group and even the lunches are now really highly regarded! The majority of the staff are more than competent and considerate and there is generally good pastoral care. My son always goes happily to school, even during examination periods, which is a great testimony to the place.
