as both an alumni and a current parent, I am delighted with the all round educational experience provided at Eton across all the areas mentioned above. My son, now 16, is so proud of the school and has made some excellent friends - and no, they're not all rich.
If Eton has a problem, it is the many stereotypes that are perpetrated by the media and others. I rather think of it is the Manchester United of schools - love it or loathe it, it's still as good as it gets.
oh, and by the way, if the tories win the next election, eton will have educated her 20th british prime minister - not a bad track record.
