An excellent small school with caring staff and a strong Head who has vision and direction. Children are very happy and the staff very helpful. I was impressed by the recent inspection report and am delighted that a huge amount of money has been spent on the ICT facility.

This school is in a beautiful location and setting. With lots of green fields and space. I only have experience of the pre-prep but have been very pleased with my child's progress.
The teachers in the pre prep are committed and very hard-working. The children are happy and very well behaved. The classes are very small and there are usually 2 classes for year group. There are also classroom assistants. The individual care of any child is very high. Sport of some kind is taught every day. From prep1 all children do games, matches start from prep 3. The pre-prep is housed separately from the main school (in what was the stable block) but kept very much involved. There are lots of educational school trips. All pre prep children attend chapel on a Monday and other assembly type get togethers throughout the week. Hot meal served every day and currently included in the fees.

There is an active PTA, although (i believe) members are by invitation only. The PTA work very hard in organising lots of fun events for families, children and adults alike.
I believe that there are plans to build brand new changing rooms very soon. A new sports hall is also planned for the future but so desperately needed.

Although the pre prep have adequate computers in their classrooms the main school ICT suite is very outdated and desperately in need of a revamp. There are plans to modernise this at some point.
On the whole I can whole heartedly recommend the pre prep with no reservations at all. I think this is a lovely school all the way through with happy, polite well adjusted children but sadly lacking a little on some modern facilities as mentioned above.
