My three children all attended Highfield, which is an exceptional school. It offers everything a child - and their family – could expect from a primary school. Whilst academic and sporting standards are unusually high, this is not because children are force-fed learning, or trained hard. From the outset they are encouraged with warmth, attention, variety and colour to explore as much as it is possible to present to a small person at school. Whatever the level of their ability, it is their interest in life and learning in the widest sense which is stimulated and supported.
Most importantly, the respect with which they are treated, and with which they are expected to treat others, enables them to acquire the self-respect and confidence they need to develop their own individual personalities.
