If you are satisfied with the school, then all will be calm. However, if as a parent, you dare make comment on the lack of communication from the school or inquire as to how your child is doing, the school is immediately on the defensive and the ranks are closed. This happened to us and our child has a miserable time. The school lose interest in your child if they feel that he/she does not "fit in" with their personal expectations and they are not willing to work alongside parents. Needless to say, we are on the waiting lists of many other schools.

A great little school, with good facilities considering the small site. A new building last year has really given more space, labs etc. The best feature of the school are the inspirational teachers with a really good mix of male and female teachers. ICT, sport ,science & drama are particularly strong. Every child from year 1 takes part in school play and every child competes in interschool sports - none of this selection of the best only. We like the school as it is a really coed school to 11. Our children love going to school as it is very friendly. New parents always comment on this. School has a reputation of hot housing but I have never experienced this - though Year 5 is meant to be tough. Only downside is that parents are not kept fully informed and they don't sell themselves but that may be because it is a trust school and not a business.
