My child has only been at Lincoln Minster for a short time, however after years of unhappiness at State Primary schools, child has never been so happy. We are very pleased with how child has settled in and the strong relationships already established with both Teachers and other Pupils.
We are more than please with the Music Department. The bond between pupils and staff is so great in this department. They nurture and support all the kids and give a great deal of time and effort to ensure the department runs smoothly. There is a huge array of musical activities on offer. The pupils support one another and great friendships are forged with other musicians of all ages throughout the school. A wonderful atmosphere.
The school expects a lot of all pupils. There is enormous respect shown by all throughout the school. Academic standards are high and staff expect pupils to give their all. The homework is plentiful, however child soon settled into routine and can quite easily manage to do homework leaving weekends free.
The school excels in offering the individual every opportunity. They are flexible and are willing to adapt learning to suit the individual, whether it be for Music, Sport or other.
Pastrol care for my child has been very good. Staff are caring and show an interest in what pupils do both in and out of school. There are clear boundaries and pupils are expected to keep to them. Merits are given for good work and behaviour and De-Merits for bad behaviour which can result in a detention.
Everyone is different and the school may not suit everyone, however my child has never been so happy.

I am currently a pupil at LMS, and I think that the standards are very high and the discipline is Excellent. It has a lot to offer and there is no bullying or teasing what so ever. I also think that the Music department is superb and the staff are always helpful. The school offers a lot of opportunities whether you are musical, sporty, good at languages there is something for everyone!!!!
Truly amazing, couldn't be better!!

This school destroyed my child. After just 6 months in the lower school, my child became severely depressed due to pressure that was exerted on her by her teachers and piers. After 7 months my daughter was admitted into hospital after collapsing due to a nervous breakdown. I would not wish this school upon any child.

if you are looking for a reasonably happy place where an average child will do better than they could in the local state system this is it; an academic school with experienced, well qualified, inspiring teachers it is not. narrow range of subjects, No library in the senior school [!?], poor sports facilities.

As parents of a child who sometimes finds it difficult to settle in new surroundings we have been very impressed by the support and encouragement provided in year 7. The care provided by staff and pupils is almost tangible.

We are delighted with this excellent School. Our Child is happy and contented. Expectations of Pupils is high in all areas.
The School has a well deserved reputation for music, it is gaining strength and is fast becoming a centre of excellence.
The building of a New Music Department and Sports Hall will further improve the schools already new and excellent facilities.
Leadership is good as is the parent/teacher relationship.
They are aiming high.

I enjoyed my time at Minster Prep school. It was a fun place to learn and the teachers were very good. I left because I didn't think the senior site offered as many opportunities as other schools. Overall the prep school was fantastic but the senior site was a bit
lacking.

i was disappointed with the standard of care i received at Lincoln minister, i left in 2001 when i was in year 7. i received good care in the prepatory school and boarding house but after moving to the senior school found the standard of care severely reduced.
