My 7 years at Rossall were on the whole some of the happiest of my life. The sixth form is particularly excellent allowing students plenty of extra responsibilities to grow as people ready for university and the real world.

I thoroughly enjoyed the years I spent at Rossall School. Although some of the facilities were not of the highest standard, plans were already being actioned to improve on this when I left. The atmosphere is unlike any I have ever experienced elsewhere or even heard of; the pupils love the school and the teachers are more like friends, in the sense that outside of lessons, for example, within the one of the houses, they come and chat to pupils and listen as well. The teaching is of the highest standard, lessons are well thought through and flexible as well.
I would recommend this school to any potential student as a school you will actually want to return to and which you will miss.

i worked at rossall for a week doing work experience in 2005 and thought it was an excellent school and they had excellent facilities, the only thing i was disapointed at was some of the bedrooms. Wallpaper was coming off teh walls due 2 damp, and there was no plans for it to be corrected and the pupils were sleeping in there. However it is a beautiful place to learn and you are looked after well. The staff are all lovely especially the house matrons. All the students were well mannered also.
