A good school for nurturing all talents. Lots of drama, music, art and sport. Children achieve much under the guidance of dedicated and caring teachers. A school for the all-rounder.

I currently have 2 children at St Peters, and feel that it is a good school. It strives to treat pupils as individuals, and nurtures talent across the whole curriculum. The children get a fantastic range of opportunities and their confidence flourishes in the nurturing environment. It is easy to be impressed with schools that have a wealth of brand new facilities, but these are not what makes children happy or high achievers.

I have recently joined the school after working in the state sector for five years. I have taken a learning support role across the infant, junior and senior school and therefore have been lucky enough to observe and experience the standard of education throughout the whole school.
I have been very impressed by the committment and hard work of all the staff within the school. The children are incredibly lucky with the specialisms that many of the staff hold. Their whole education experience is based on them doing and achieving.
The atmosphere is lively and engaging and the pastoral care is among the best I have seen in any school for both boarding and day pupils. From what the children are eating to the wide and varied extra curricular activities that are offered - there is an opportunity for every St. Peter's child to excel.
The school is fully aware of the need to develop and move forward into the future and has many exciting plans in the pipeline. WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

The school is in a beautiful location; however that really is it's plus point. There is little add on value, the quality of sports, performances and facilities are well below the expectations for your average prep school. Few girls throughout the school and only 1 in the top year. The school operates from temporary classrooms, with one set of toilets between 4 classes.
